2018 Campaign School – Training

Running for public office? Sharpen your campaign skills first!

At the non-partisan Campaign School, you’ll learn from proven campaign professionals about what it takes to run an effective campaign. You’ll get the tools you need before throwing your hat in the ring.

The Campaign School will provide information and training on working with volunteers, communication, fundraising, campaign and finance laws, writing a campaign plan, getting out the vote, election day activities and talking to the press.

You’ll meet with campaign professionals who will address all of these subjects and more, and who are familiar with the political landscape of the state. You’ll also have the opportunity to meet with elected officials and the Secretary of the State.

Even if you’re just toying with the idea of running for public office, use this day of training to sharpen your focus before making a decision.
