Shawn Taylor wins the People’s Choice Award!

WREA Executive Director Shawn Taylor wasn’t just a competitor on a dance competition this fall — he won the People’s Choice Award and took third place overall. Taylor and his dance partner, Gina Wells of Dance Spirit Dance Studio, competed against five other couples during the 3rd Annual Dancing with the Stars of Cheyenne at Little America on Sept. 22.

The event is a fundraiser for the Cheyenne Boys & Girls Club, which provides mentorship, activities and a safe environment for school-aged youth. Youth from the club danced a special finale performance at the event, wearing uniforms that were funded by WREA.
